How to set up shipping costs by volumetric weight

Table Configuration

In the Settings > Shipping section, we access the shipping methods (in a specific zone) and create or edit a zone.

A modal appears where we can choose the shipping type. If we select the type Volumetric Rate, we can insert weight and cost ranges. When adding the record, it is shown in the lower table so we can see the configuration we are making.

Changes will not be saved until we click create at the bottom of the modal.

Assignment of Volumetric Weight to Products

ICP Products

To assign the volumetric weight to an ICP product, it will be done from the product sheet in the section Products > Products, by accessing the edit screen of any of our products.

Editor Templates

To assign a volumetric weight to a template obtained from the editor, we will do it through the catalog where we are publishing it. When editing the corresponding template, we will see a sheet similar to the previous one with the same volumetric weight field that will allow us to assign the weight to that item.
